MANILA, Philippines – If you are familiar with Ms. Melanie Marquez’s famous and funny lines, then this last one wouldn’t come as a big surprise, although she always pull it off, at the expense of herself.
The latest to come from the 1979 Ms. International, who just came back to the Philippines, happened during an interview with reporter Mario Dumaual of ABS-CBN, while she was relating her traumatic vehicular accident in the United States.
The actress-beauty queen who became famous for delivering rather amusing, if not embarrassing, lines in some of her interviews, like “Don’t judge my brother; he’s not a book” and “Ang tatay ko ang only living legend na buhay”, was earlier involved in a car crash when her sports utility vehicle (SUV) fell into a ravine while driving along the Utah-Arizona border last December 7.
She narrated her tragic experience to Dumaual that started when she accidentally hit a patch of ice, and then lost control of the vehicle while on the way from Las Vegas. (Click here to read more)
