MANILA, Philippines – Cedric Lee, who is now in the custody of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) with co-accused Zimmer Raz, has admitted encouraging some of Vhong Navarro’s accusers to file rape complaints but denied direct participation in any of them.
In an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News while on board a flight from Samar to Manila on Sunday, Lee said he received several calls from people claiming to be Navarro’s rape victim or who knows friends who suffered sexual abuses at the hands of the actor.
“May mga tumatawag sa akin na mga kaibigan din daw nila, minolestya, ‘yung iba na-rape, ‘yung iba attempted rape,” Lee recalled.
(I received calls from people who have friends that were molested, others raped, while others attempted rape.)
“Sinagot ko lang to doon sa mga tumatawag sa akin — ‘Sabihin niyo sa mga victims, mag-file sila kung meron silang evidence,’” he said.
(I told the callers this – tell the victims to file [cases] if they have evidence.) (Click here to read more)
