SYDNEY, Australia – Tragedy struck two times for an Australian family, and they haven’t even gotten over the first one when the second misfortune followed.
Kaylene Mann and her family are still mourning over the loss of two of their loved ones on the still-missing Malaysian Flight MH370 last March 08. Four months later, yet another two of their kin died on another Malaysian jetliner, the MH17, on July 17.
Mann is the sister of Rodney Burrows, who, together with his wife, Mary, vanished on March 08 aboard the ill-fated Malaysian Flight MH370 en route to Beijing shortly after taking off from Kuala Lumpur.
On Friday, she received the tragic news about the shooting down of MH17 over Ukranian airspace. Aboard the flight that crashed on Grabovo town near the Russian-Ukraine border was her stepdaughter, Maree Rizk, and husband Albert.
The Rizk couple is among the 27 Australians who perished in the second Malaysian Airlines air disaster this year, following the mysterious disappearance of MH370 on March. (Click here to read more)
