The ISIS jihadists are more terrified of women fighters because they believe being killed by one would mean losing the promise of enjoying the 72 virgins in paradise, a senior Washington official claimed.
Citing reports about the Kurdish peshmerga warriors assembling all-women troops for a purpose, Congressman Ed Royce, chairman of the US House International Relations Committee, told the New York Post about a group of Kurdish female soldiers who said they have turned back some ISIS jihadists in encounter and were laughing at it.
“These ISIL soldiers apparently believed that if they were killed in battle, they went to paradise as long as they were killed by a man,” Royce said.
According to interpretation of Quran by radical imams, jihadist who died as martyrs will secure a place in paradise and a promise of 72 brown-eyed virgins.
“And these female soldiers were communicating their satisfaction with the fact that they had taken the fight to ISIL and had stopped the advance, turned back the advance — slayed a number of these fighters, who would then run away,” the US legislator added.
This was also confirmed by a female Kurdish fighter who believes they could be the secret weapon in their war against the Islamist extremists. It was also reported there was a significant increase in the number of Kurdish women joining the Peshmerga troops.
“I think IS were more afraid of us than of the men,” said Tekoshin, a 27-year-old Kurdish female soldier. “They believe they’ll go to hell if they die at a woman’s hand. (Click here to read more)
