The Islamic State (IS) has released another horrifying video showing a woman being stoned to death by a group of men including her father. The married woman is reported have been from the city of Hama in Syria and was accused of adultery.
The sickening footage begins with a bearded cleric ranting at the woman for her sin, while the father is standing beside, nodding in acknowledgement. The familiar ISIS black flag can be seen flying on the upper right hand side of the screen.
According to the Daily Mail report, the woman was told to ‘be content and happy’ with the punishment by stoning her to death as it is ordered by God.
The woman is then heard pleading her father for her life, saying “please father, forgive me”, to which the father repeatedly replied “I am not your father anymore”.
The bearded man then asked the father if there is anything he wanted to say to his daughter, but the heartless father quickly said “No”.
Two of the men, believe to be ISIS fighters, approached the father convincing him to forgive her as she is “going to Allah”, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said in a separate report.
“I am sorry but my heart won’t let me…. I hope God forgives you but I won’t,” the father told the woman.
The father then ushered his daughter to a pit on the ground after strapping her with a rope, then gave the cue for other men to start the gruesome execution. The video became darker as the men start throwing stones at the poor lady, one after the other.
In the last few seconds of the clip, the father took a large-sized rock and threw it at her fallen daughter – the coup d’ grace – before the video faded into black. (Click here to read more)
