Actor Jim Carrey was one of the pallbearers who helped carry his ex-girlfriend Cathriona White’s coffin on Saturday, October 10 during the funeral at Our Lady of Fatima Church in County Tipperary, Ireland; the deceased home village.
The somber-looking comedian was visibly distraught in the photos that were captured showing him carrying White’s casket with other men including her brother, James, from the service to the nearby cemetery.
The service was attended by around 300 people including family and close friends who travelled hundreds of miles to pay their last respects to deceased.
White, 30, was found dead on September 28 inside her apartment in Sherman Oaks in Los Angeles, allegedly days just after the couple broke up.
The two had been dating since 2012 and were on an on-and-off relationship for the last three years. White is believed to have taken her own life.
Reportedly found near her body were bottles of prescription drugs and a number of suicide notes including one that is addressed to the 53-year-old actor.
Upon hearing of the sad news, Carrey issued a statement expressing his sorrow and grief over White’s shocking death. (Click here to read more)
