- A German journalist claims that of all its enemies, ISIS fear Israel the most
- He says ISIS militants consider Israeli troops more dangerous than Western soldiers
- He also bares ISIS plan to conquer the world
The Islamic State fears Israel more than United States and Russia who are both actively pounding the terrorist with bombs and missiles, this was revealed by a journalist who spent more than a week inside the Caliphate.
Jürgen Todenhofer, the 75-year-old journalist who toured the ISIS stronghold for ten days, had some surprising revelations about the Islamic State; and one of them is that the Sunni extremists are ready to fight US or British forces, but are supposedly wary of meeting Israeli forces in battle.
“The only country ISIS fears is Israel. They told me they know the Israeli army is too strong for them,” Todenhofer told the Jewish News. “They know the Israelis are very tough as far as fighting against guerrillas and terrorists.”
The German journalist also bared the seeming strategy by which the ISIS is planning to conquer the world – first the Middle East except Israel, then the West and the rest of the world will follow.
The terrorist group are reportedly prepared to engage the American and British ground troops in an urban war but fighting the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) is another story.
“They are not scared of the British and the Americans, they are scared of the Israelis and told me the Israeli army is the real danger,” Todenhofer said.
“We can’t defeat them with our current strategy, they said. These people [the IDF] can fight a guerrilla war,” he added, recalling his conversation with some militants in Mosul.
Mosul, according to Todenhofer, has around 20,000 ISIS among the 1.5-million population, but the troops are scattered across 2,000 apartments, making it difficult for their enemies to defeat them in a single assault.
ISIS jihadists are ready to die in a war against Western enemies, Todenhofer added, but hope it would be the US and US soldiers, not the Israelis they would be fighting against.
When asked whether he is still planning to go back, Todenhofer said he will never return to the ISIS territory ever again.
