MANILA, Philippines – Former housemate at Pinoy Big Brother’s (PBB) Bahay ni Kuya Marnill “Kigoy” Abarico reportedly died following a cardiac arrest in his hometown in Leyte last week.
An ABS-CBN News report said Abarico’s remain was laid to rest on Tuesday, January 12. He was 36 years old.
The Cebu-born Abarico became known as the “Bay Diskarte ng Ormoc” when he joined the fourth season of the reality television show PBB “Unlimited Edition” then won by Slater Young back in 2011.
His brother, Ian Toliyao, told local Bombo Radyo that Abarico suddenly fell unconscious and collapsed while outside their house in District 2, Ormoc City in Leyte.
Abarico’s wife and three children were not able to attend his funeral, according to his uncle Generoso. He has long been separated from his family for years.
The late PBB housemate came from a family of six siblings. They were raised by their mother who was a single parent. (Click here to read more)
