A Facebook user is seeking the help of netizens for a woman she found wandering aimlessly in Kalibo and who is believed to have suffered from mental breakdown.

On January 12, one Lyka Mae Bentosa uploaded on Facebook photos of a woman identified only as Joanna who claims to have come from San Dionisio, Parañaque City.

According to Bentosa’s post, Joanna went to Boracay with some friends without her parents knowing. But her so-called friends allegedly sold her to foreigners.

Joanna supposedly managed to escape and has since been found wandering around Kalibo.

Some commenters on the thread claims Joanna was once married to a foreigner who abandoned her. Others suggested she may be pregnant and should be turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development  (DSWD) office or to a mental institution. (Click here to read more)
