The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has decided to publicly release hundreds of declassified documents pertaining to alleged UFO sightings, aliens and other extra-terrestrial activities supposedly for X-Files agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully to make use of.
On its website, the CIA said the documents were declassified in 1978 and details the Agency’s investigation into Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs). They were dated back from the late 1940s to 1950s.
These documents include a March 4, 1962 photo of a UFO over Sheffeld, England and another Minneapolis in Minnesota dated October 20, 1960.
Another photo showed unidentified officers investigating an alleged UFO sighting in East Germany in 1952 where witnesses were said to have reported about seeing what they described as a ‘huge flying pan’.
“To help navigate the vast amount of data contained in our FOIA UFO collection, we’ve decided to highlight a few documents both skeptics and believers will find interesting,” the CIA wrote on its website. (Click here to read more)
