- A municipality raiding team in Saudi discovered at least 10 gallons of human urine kept at a perfume factory
- Also seized were unknown raw materials which may have been used in making perfumes
- Police are still investigating if the human urine is being used in the product
A raiding team were surprised to discover at least ten gallons of human urine kept in separate containers at a perfume factory in the municipality of Hail in Saudi Arabia last week.
An Arab News report said the team found the urine at the warehouse of a local perfume manufacturer last Wednesday, January 27, but there were no immediate explanations why the human waste was being kept, or whether it is being used in making the product.
Aside from the urine, authorities also found pieces of wood covered in perfumed oil and are believed to be sold in the market as Oud; a resin-saturated aromatic wood popular in Arab countries.
Also seized were unidentified raw materials, oil and perfume bottles.
The case was immediately handed to the Ministry of Commerce, the Civil Defense and the police for necessary actions. (Click here to read more)
