A woman from Ohio was arrested by authorities for physically assaulting her husband after she became frustrated for not receiving any gift on Valentine’s Day.
Kimberly Hammond has been charged with felonious assault and misdemeanor domestic violence committed against her husband, John, who suffered injuries to the face and the body. Both are 46 years old.
On February 14 around 11:00 am, deputies from Washington County sheriff responded to a 911 call about domestic disturbance at a home in Belpre Township.
The cops found the husband sustaining scratches on the face, broken ribs, and a large knot on the back of his head.
He later claimed during investigation that his wife attacked him with a mini baseball bat then proceeded kicking him in the ribs several times .
The woman has supposedly been drinking beer early that day before starting an argument with her husband for not getting any gift on Valentine’s Day.
The confrontation later turned physical and Mrs. Hammond started scratching her husband’s face before beating him with the bat. While he was in the semi-conscious state, she began kicking him. (Click here to read more)
