MANILA, Philippines – Singer Charice Pempengco and OFW-turned-professional photographer Xyza Cruz Bacani have made it to Forbe’s inaugural list of Asian’s ’30 Under 30’ released on February 24.
Pempengco and Bacani are joined by 8 other young Filipinos who excel and made a difference in various fields. They are described by Forbes as “young innovators, entrepreneurs and social leaders across Asia who are transforming business, technology, industry, media, culture and more.
The feted individuals were chosen for 10 categories such as The Arts (Art & Style, Food & Drink); Manufacturing & Energy; Entertainment & Sports; Consumer Technology; Finance & Venture Capital; Enterprise Technology; Media & Marketing; Health Care & Science; Social Entrepreneurs; and Retail & E-Commerce.
The 23-year-old internationally-renowned artist Pempengco was chosen for Entertainment & Sports category while the 29-year-old former Hong Kong OFW Bacani was feted in The Arts category.
