  • A Facebook post claims DPWH workers are removing Duterte-Cayetano posters, even those placed on private properties
  • The post also alleged the men are replacing them with Mar-Leni tarpaulins

022705MANILA, Philippines  –  A Facebook post claimed that some workers from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) have removed the campaign posters of Mayor Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Alan Peter Cayetano; only to replace them with Roxas-Robredo streamers.

The post, however, did not mention the exact place where the photo was taken.

In the Facebook post of one Paulo Tan, apparently a supporter of the Duterte-Cayetano tandem, pictures of men wearing shirts with the letters ‘DPWH” printed at the back can be seen removing tarpaulins bearing the names and faces of the Davao City mayor and his running mate.

It was captioned with: “Tinatanggal lahat nila mga tarp nila duterte at papalitan ng MARLENI,”the latter posted; referring to the administration and Liberal Party (LP) bets former Interior Secretary Mar Roxas and Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo, or Ro-Ro to their supporters.

The post further said the alleged DPWH men are removing posters that were already inside private properties.

”Pati DPWH minamanipula na ng administrasyong aquino tinatanggal lahat ng mga tarp na ginastusan ng sariling pera ng mga kaDDS natin. Kahit sa bakod na ng bahay nila binaklas pa!” the caption read. (Click here to read more)
