- Lawyer Bruce Rivera chided Poe, Binay and Roxas for making the usual promises in the recently-concluded ‘Pilipinas Debates 2016’
- He also described the three presidential candidates as ‘hypocrites’
- Rivera said the country does not need a good debater, but a leader who gets things done
MANILA, Philippines – Lawyer Bruce Rivera has again offered his two cents on the recently-concluded second leg of the ‘Pilipinas Debates 2016’ held at the University of the Philippines- Cebu (UP-Cebu) on Sunday, March 20.
Rivera is the same lawyer whose opinion on the controversial Supreme Court decision to allow Senator Grace Poe to run as president went viral on social media early this month.
In his second viral Facebook post, Rivera chided presidential candidates Grace Poe, VP Jejomar Binay and Mar Roxas for parroting the old and usual promises expected of a politician during election; considering the fact that they have been given the chance to fulfill these having all of them held incumbent national positions.
He also described the three Malacañang hopefuls as ‘hypocrites’.
“Magaling kayong magsalita, baluktutin ang katotohanan sa kahusayang magtalumpati dahil kaya ninyong bayaran ang mga matatalinong handang ibenta ang kanilang karunungan at tulungan kayong bolahin ang nakararami,” Rivera wrote. (Click here to read more)
